This is a signal that maritime companies are taking cyber threats seriously, putting in place the necessary infrastructure to tackle these threats. Between 2023 and 2024, global demand for top roles such as ‘Head of cybersecurity’ and ‘Director of cybersecurity’ in the maritime industry has surged by 24% and 10%, respectively.
