The centre is looking for meticulous and dynamic individuals to join us as Research Fellow

 

Job Description:

You will assist in the Centre’s efforts to develop research tracks by pursuing rigorous research and analysis on maritime issues. You are also expected to participate in an active dissemination and publication programme.

 

Requirements:

	1	PhD holders in relevant disciplines
	2	Good command of the English language
	3	An aptitude for and relevant experience in collaborative as well as independent research, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
	4	Some knowledge and work experience in the maritime industry is an added advantage

 

Terms and conditions:

	1	Contract tenable for 1 year in the first instance to be offered on a competitive basis
	2	An annual based salary which will commensurate with qualifications and relevant working experience
	3	Vacation leave of 28 days per calendar year
	4	Other staff benefits entitlement
